Summer Reading Program

THEME: Get A Clue...At The Library! (Mysteries)
Begins: Tuesday, June 12th and runs through Tuesday, July 24th, which will be the END CELEBRATION DAY! It willl be a six-week program this year. Each Tuesday between June 12th and July 17th we will hold 2 daily sessions:
11:00 am for Pre-K & Kindergarten age children and2:00 pm for Elementary ages. Each session will be approximately 1 hour in length.
Prizes will be awarded incrementally for every 5 books read.
Older children are encouraged to read for prizes as well!
NO FORMAL REGISTRATION REQUIRED...just show up and put your name on a Reading Log!
If a child under the age of seven is to be left unattended during the morning story time, a guardian must sign he or she in at the front desk and leave an emergency contact and phone number with the library staff.
During story time hours, only adults will be allowed access to the library computers, unless the program for that day requires the use of computers.
The Library's Internet Policy for Children
Children may use the workstations with Internet access if a parent or guardian has come into the library and signed an Internet safety contract for the child. This applies to any young person under the age of 17.
