Interlibrary Loan

If you can't find a book or other materials at our library, we can help. Through a cooperative arrangement with other libraries, we are able to access materials currently not available in our collection.

Any person with a Jennie Trent Dew Library card may request interlibrary loan materials. The process may take from 2 to 4 weeks. The fee for the service is the cost of sending the item back to the originating library and is $3.00 in most cases, but can be more for larger items.

To complete your own request for interlibrary loan materials, please read the following directions completely before clicking on this link to When you click on the previous link, your screen should look similar to this:

After making sure the item is in the desired medium, for example, book, DVD, CD, audio book, click on the title of the item. This page is a single listing of the item. Again, make sure the item is in the desired format. About halfway down the page is a "Request Item" button. After clicking this button, a page asking for your home library will appear. Choose Jennie Trent Dew Library from the list or type Jennie Trent Dew Library in the blank. On the next page, type your JTD library card number, phone number, date needed, and email address in the blanks provided and submit your request. The library will call or email when the requested material arrives. Only return postage will need to be paid.
